Welcome to The Mobile Vet - House Calls for Pets!
Dr. Karyn West and our team are here to make life easier for you and your pets! This veterinary practice was created to serve the needs of pets and the people that love them, especially those with difficult schedules or transportation issues, as well as those that simply dread that trip to the veterinarian's office.
Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, our practice was founded in 2009 and serves New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties. Dr. West loves her patients and is devoted to making the veterinary experience one that is comfortable and convenient for all those involved--those with fur as well as those without it.
The Mobile Vet - House Calls for Pets eliminates the difficulty and stress of a trip to the veterinarian's office. We come to you! At this time, we provide preventive care (vaccines, heartworm and Feline Leukemia/FIV tests, routine bloodwork, etc) and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. We are also here for you if the time comes to provide end-of-life care.
Our regular hours are listed under the "Clinic Hours" tab; evening and weekend appointments are available. When able, we are happy to accommodate scheduling requests outside of our regular hours. We are also available for minor emergencies outside of regular business hours.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency between the hours of 6:00pm and 8:00am, please immediately take your pet to Animal Emergency and Trauma Hospital of Wilmington, located at 5333 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC. They can be reached by telephone at (910) 791-7387.
